The Bottom Line

Josh Burchick, a career firefighter, contemplates his workplace hazards after receiving the news of his wife’s pregnancy. Original audio interviews with Burchick play over POV footage of actual firefighting calls, allowing the viewer access to a rarely seen job, while inviting us in to an even more unique headspace. A thesis project for Towson University’s Electronic Media and Film department.

Recipient of two honorariums: The Bethesda Documentary Film Festival and Arts Club of Washington Scholarship competition.
