Mark Burchick is a Capital Emmy-award winning filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist from Baltimore, Maryland. He holds an MFA in Studio Arts from Towson University.

Sourcing from academic fields such as religious and folklore studies, anthropology, and psychology, his current body of work involves the study of belief and the roles that media and technology play in influencing our beliefs. These conceptually driven single channel videos and interactive multimedia installations invite viewers to question their perceptions and examine how belief systems have structured our world.
